What you can do
Reach out to your legislators
If you feel the current Dangerous Dog Law needs to be revised to ensure the safety of communities, or wish to keep the Dog Law Restricted Account solvent, reach out to your legislators and request they champion for change. Your State Senators and State Representatives care about their constituents and their concerns.
Even if you are not affected by a dog attack personally,or are not a dog owner, you can still let your local representatives know you want to see revisions in the current dog laws to provide more safety to humans and animals alike.
As dog related bills go into the Department of Agriculture Committees in the House and Senate, contacting Committee leaders Senator Vogel and Rep. Causer to let them know you care about changing the law is beneficial.
